Job Description & Responsibilities
The Centers of Excellence (COE) founds and matures specialized expertise in technology and diverse consulting capabilities that span multiple products, platforms, and business units in the enterprise. Each COE leverages deep expertise in specialized subject areas, standardizes best practices for high impact and scalable solutions, industrializes operations, and provides thought leadership & consultative guidance in their area of expertise.
The Application Development Department is responsible for delivering meaningful and relevant information to management so that various business units can make educated data centric decisions. The department also manages Data Warehouse specific initiatives and analytics projects which include; driving data specific process improvement initiatives, facilitation of various database maintenance tasks, creating data integration processes and procedures, as well as providing technical support, guidance, and training for embedded Data Analysts.
The Axos Product team works with business unit leadership to define technology and digital product strategy. The team maintains Axos’ enterprise roadmap to ensure strategy and delivery are aligned with corporate goals. The team ensures digital and technical products are differentiated and deliver expected value to Axos and its customers.
Responsibilities
- Performs business systems and process analysis of existing systems/processes
- Conducts interviews and requirements gathering workshops
- Ensures sign-off of all artifacts
- Assists in testing, training plan development and training, support for users, and developing user documentation (i.e
- manuals, reference guides, etc.)
- Participates in QA process; identifies test cases; explains complex processes; aids in developing test plans
- Develops detailed business cases, ROI calculations, value definition, cost assessments (expense/capital), benefits, and risk analyses
- Conducts root cause analysis using knowledge of applications, interfaces, and technology for defect resolution
- Coordinates project tasks and project life cycle phases for small to mid-size projects (i.e
- defining requirements, documentation, and process flows, etc.) to meet customer goals and requirements

- Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years of developing requirements for technology projects, preferably Salesforce
- Understanding of the banking, securities and/or broader financial services industries
- Expertise with issue and development tracking software such as TFS
- Experience working in an agile / scrum environment
