Job Description & Responsibilities
Specialist for project deliver, scientific programming in Labvantage LIMS and/or operations in assay development. Partner with Business Stakeholders and IT Strategic Business Partners for demand analysis, solution proposal/evaluation and project delivery -Drive operations of LIMS and SAP systems and applications in scope (both Global and Local), ensuring their stability and integrity and meeting customer service levels.
About The Role
Major Accountabilities (may include but not limited to):
- Labvantage LIMS customization and programming
- Business Process knowledge of assay development and flow cytometry a bonus
- Deliver Business Analytics projects according to strategy and with reusability.
- Ensure on time within budget compliant secure and quality delivery of portfolio for responsible service area.
- Ensure services solutions platforms products are fit for purpose and achieve the desired business value and impact.
- Delivery on agreed KPIs including business impact -Launch of innovative technology solutions across Novartis at scale -Business impact and value generated from DDIT solutions -Adoption and development of Agile Productization and DevOps practices -Operations stability and effective risk management -Feedback on customer experience -Applications adherence to ISC requirements and are audit ready.
- Master’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics or AI a bonus
This position will be located at the Carlsbad, CA site and will not have the ability to be located remotely.

What we offer
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $107,200 and $160,080 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
