Job Description & Responsibilities
T-Rex Solutions is looking to select a Business Analyst to support our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) EDOS program. The overall mission of this program is to modernize the IRS legacy Tax processing systems and is critical to the overall modernization of the IRS to improve taxpayer experience, increase voluntary compliance, and reduce the IRS's reliance on costly and unsustainable legacy technology.
Responsibilities:
- Support efforts to assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution.
- Research, gather and synthesize information into Plain Language.
- Develop requirements based on input from project stakeholders including Assembler developers and business tax consultants.
- Maintain requirements in requirements tool.
- Analyze and design business processes and services.
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required with three (3) or more years of related experience. An additional four (4) years of related experience may substitute for degree
- US citizenship or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3+ years, and be Federal Tax compliant required
- Ability to pass and maintain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels
- Excellent time management
- Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
