Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

PacifiCorp is seeking customer-centric candidates to grow and sustain our commitment to a culture of customer service excellence, environmental sustainability and diversity, equity and inclusion.
General Purpose

Conducts analysis through research and gathering of information to verify vendor master requests
Responsibilities

  • Assist with analysis through research, gathering, and interpretation to confirm the validity of information for creating or changing vendor master data.
  • Support and assist with verifying IRS W-9 submittals.
  • Provide support with the preparation for annual Form 1099 reporting.
Business Analyst - Job requirements

Requirements

  • Associate degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications to gather, analyze, and model information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills including ability to consult with internal and external customers regarding matters/issues which may be sensitive in nature.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and background, and ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.

Preferences

  • Three years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Data gathering, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Prior work with utility regulation and pricing.
