Business Analyst, Digital Programs - Job Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business and Technical Requirements Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless translation of business needs into technical solutions. You will be responsible for reviewing, prioritizing, and managing requests, collaborating closely with IT teams, and ensuring the successful deployment of solutions while maintaining ongoing communication with the business stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

  • Review and Capture Requirements:
  • Carefully review each request from business stakeholders to capture both business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and document their needs effectively.
  • Prioritize Requirements:
  • Evaluate and prioritize requirements based on factors such as level of effort, impact on business objectives, and urgency.
  • Work with stakeholders to align expectations and timelines.
  • User Story Development:
  • Draft comprehensive user stories that clearly define the requested functionality, acceptance criteria, and desired outcomes.
  • Ensure user stories are well-documented and ready for IT team consumption.
  • Engage with IT Team:
  • Work closely with IT teams to effectively communicate technical requirements.
  • Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT professionals by providing accurate technical context.
  • Testing and Deployment:
  • Coordinate with IT to set up a testing environment.
  • Thoroughly test all requests in the testing environment, documenting testing evidence and ensuring the solution meets requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT for successful deployment and ensure a smooth transition into production.
  • Post-Deployment Review:
  • Conduct post-deployment reviews to verify that the solution aligns with business expectations.
  • Communicate any necessary changes or improvements to stakeholders and IT teams.
Business Analyst, Digital Programs - Job requirements

Skills And Qualifications For This Role Include

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or relevant real-world experience.
  • Proven experience in requirements analysis, user story development, and project management.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong Data analysis skills to effectively measure and evaluate program needs and success
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests concurrently.
  • Experience with testing and quality assurance processes is a plus.
  • Experience with Customer Success tools, CRMs esp. Salesforce Project Management, with Digital Programs, is a plus
  • Knowledge of business analysis tools and methodologies is desirable.

The location for this role is/are:

  • Hybrid or Remote across East Coast locations.

The base salary range for this role is $63,000-$77,000.

Compensation offered will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job related skills, education, experience and other business and organizational needs.
