Business Analyst, Digital - Job Role & Responsibilities

As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team, you will bring a unique perspective to aerospace engineering systems. This role is responsible for identifying, documenting and assessing the processes we use to design, build and test our products.

This role will provide the planning and leadership that enables change. To be successful one should be a self-starter with exceptional organizational and soft skills to assess gaps in existing processes and tools. Assisting in the prioritization of these, you will work with an organizationally diverse team to establish clear closure plans or otherwise bring solutions. We are looking for someone who has an approach hallmarked by rapid delivery and continuous-improvement and who is ready to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Responsibilities

  • Partner with a wide range of business leaders to identify & develop priorities
  • Anticipate business needs with proposals for process improvements or system solutions
  • Contribute to the roadmaps for multiple core systems and work with end users to advocate on behalf of their needs
  • Deliver results to the business, including the development of an integrated process map
  • Communicate process gaps and closure plans to senior leadership and the broader company
  • Work with multiple teams across the organization to define and implement new processes around design engineering, test, verification, and operations.
  • Work with customers and the development team to design user experiences, including prototypes and mockups
  • Perform analytics on data to drive business decisions and iterate on our processes
Business Analyst, Digital - Job requirements

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or other highly analytical fields or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation
  • Proficient with industry standard business process modelling techniques and tools
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and productive relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
  • Ability to influence others without direct authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in technical work environments
  • Experience and ability to work independently
  • Able to quickly adapt to dynamic priorities and changing criteria
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Desired

  • B.S. degree in a relevant engineering field (aerospace, mechanical, systems)
  • 5 +years experience in a design & manufacturing industry
  • Operations experience in design, launch system, commercial aviation, military aviation, or similar industry requiring detailed configuration control to ensure human safety
