Job Description & Responsibilities
At PosiGen, we are passionate about providing money saving solar energy and energy efficiency solutions for people of all income levels. We are seeking an equally passionate Diagnostics Business Analyst to help further our mission. The Diagnostics Business Analyst will be responsible for providing visibility into fleet performance, managing the field service queue, and structuring business requirements around Snowflake Warehouse architecture for solar production data. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into efficient and actionable solutions.
We are seeking a data-driven analyst with a strong foundation in the solar industry. Proven experience in field service operations is a plus. Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and cloud-based data management platforms, such as Snowflake, is essential. You will excel at transforming complex data into actionable insights through advanced data modeling and business intelligence tools. A keen analytical mind and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly are crucial for success in this role.
While this position can be remote, we strongly prefer candidates located in one of our areas of operation: New Orleans, LA; Houston, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Philadelphia, PA; and the surrounding Northeast region (NJ, CT, MA, RI, NH).
Essential Job Functions
Post-PTO Production Visualization and Visibility:
- Drive data-driven insights and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership to define and implement BI solutions for post-PTO solar fleet performance.
- Develop KPIs and OKRs to measure fleet health, alarming, field service, and customer experience.
- Elicit business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Partner with engineering and development teams to design and build “Extract-Transform-Load” processes.
- Ensure data quality and consistency through rigorous analysis and testing.
- Support user adoption through training and troubleshooting.
Queue Management for the Asset Monitoring and Diagnostics Team:
- Optimize asset monitoring and diagnostics team performance.
- Leverage Salesforce and BI tools to create actionable reports and dashboards.
- Analyze queue data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support data-driven decision making through insights and recommendations.
Requirements
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IS/CS, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce.
- 2+ years experience with SQL, with a strong understanding of cloud DBMS (Snowflake highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM functionality.
- 2 years of experience in supporting Field Service and/or Customer Support Business Functions.
- 2 years of direct “Hands-On” experience with Salesforce.com Field Service Management and Case Management.
What we offer
Base Salary
$65,000—$70,000 USD
