Our Technical Business Analyst (TBA) bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role involves understanding business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring that engineering deliverables meet these requirements. The TBA works closely with stakeholders, development teams, and external vendors, to support the development and implementation of the technical solutions that drive our business.

This is a permanent, full-time, remote, overtime eligible position with a salary of $70k - $80K annually.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives
• Gather detailed requirements through various methods and produce user stories
• Analyze and document business processes, identifying areas for improvement
• Produce clear, accurate, and actionable documentation and presentations for all levels
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to create detailed requirements
• Assist in the planning and management of projects, ensuring timely delivery
• Develop project plans, roadmaps, timelines, and milestone and report appropriately
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback
• Validate developed solutions through testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with training
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, facilitating clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Support the implementation of new processes and systems
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues post-implementation
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Use data visualization tools to effectively present findings

Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on technical projects
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Strong understanding of CRM, G-Suite Tools, and web-based applications
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into actionable data
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
• Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Ability to adapt to changing business environments and priorities
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with hosting products (VPS, Bare Metal, Virtualization, etc)
