Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking to hire a talented, versatile, resourceful, and motivated Business Development Analyst on our Renewable Development team who is keen to learn more about renewable sources of electricity and support the development of renewable energy across North America.
This is a full-time salaried position and is based out of our Boulder, Colorado office with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. If you are not currently living in the beautiful mountainous city of Boulder (or surrounding areas), relocation will be considered for the best candidate.
What You Will Do
- Provide analytical support on all project development activities
- Prepare presentation packages and reports for senior management
- Compile proposal submissions summarizing project development status to assist in securing contracts
- Perform project development support functions, such as SharePoint and dataroom management, document management, etc.
- Accountable for managing the collection, organization and filing of all project documentation, both internally and for external third-party stakeholders
- Assist manager and team members with comprehensive research designed to support the corporate development programs
- Other research and project support work as required
- Complete ad-hoc analytical work to support development team
Requirements
What We Need From You
- Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, project management, finance, planning, law or related field
- 2 or more years of professional experience in project management or business development
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to present complex concepts in a simple manner to stakeholders
- Keen attention to detail
- Critical thinking and ability to identify creative solutions to emerging issues in a timely manner
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with people at all organizational levels
- Strong team member working on cross functional teams with an ability to work independently and produce results within agreed upon deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to process information quickly and communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to handle multiple projects at various stages, prioritize assignments with the assistance of the Manager and to effectively deliver on multiple competing projects with tight timelines
- Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and priorities
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of GIS, SharePoint, SAP is an asset
- Understanding of renewable energy and project development process is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret contracts
Nice to Haves
- Renewable energy experience is an asset but not required

- Annual base salary starting at USD $76,560.00 – $105,000.00. The final agreed-upon base salary is based on the successful candidate(s) qualifications and experience.
