Job Description & Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is to obtain, provide, analyze and evaluate data to support the financial and operational decisions of the Rite Aid Pharmacy Clinical Services department. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.
- Program the extraction of data for business projects within the pharmacy area as well as other areas of the company as deemed appropriate by the business.
- Mine prescription claims level data, build queries, and maintain analyses, models, or dashboards to support special projects/initiatives, pharmacy revenue assurance, and process optimization
- Prepare various ad hoc reports such as; deletes break down, adherence Scoring, drug usage reports and store execution reports for the Clinical Services Teams.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports for all Rite Aid locations and troubleshoot issues for stores when needed.
- Collaborate with pharmacy operations and IT to review data around IT enhancements made and results of enhancements.
- Solve complex analytical and data problems while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
- Serve as a knowledge resource concerning data analytics tools and data structures for Clinical services
Requirements
Adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information or unexpected circumstances
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) required.
- 3 years of experience in Analytical, supply chain, financial or pharmacy background required.
- Experience with a computer programming language such as XML, SQL, and/or HTML preferred.
What we offer
The typical starting pay range for this position is between ($59,500 - $83,875), although wages can vary based on experience and geography.
