The American Federation of Musicians and Employers' Pension Fund ("AFM-EPF") was established for the exclusive purpose of providing certain pension and related benefits to Covered Employees and their Beneficiaries under the Plan, and shall further provide the means for financing and maintaining the operation and administration of the Trust and the Plan in accordance with the Trust Agreement, the Plan, and applicable law.

The IT department supports all business applications for the AFMEPF. There are dozens of business functions that are supported using custom developed software. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all in-office and remote desktop and staff support functions
• Assist Director of IT with their workload and act as coverage and supervisor in their absence
• Develop process and protocol for continuously improving IT support and service
• Manage and develop the day-to day work and skills of Desktop Support Associate
• Manage workflow of requests from Fund staff for programming or design changes to MAX to developers
• Manage and oversee the timely completion of all work requests and track process from ticket open to ticket closure
• Actively participate in team meetings and design discussions
• Work directly with staff and vendors to aide in the integration, usage, and support of applications
• Participate in overall systems testing and troubleshooting
• Document processes and make suggestions for improvements or automation
• Work independently on all levels up to and including moderately complex activities
• Perform complex problem analysis and resolution.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, directions, and technologies.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline; Master's degree a plus
• 3 – 5 years of work experience managing IT teams and processes
• Intermediate to Expert knowledge of Office 365 (Admin), Microsoft Active Directory
• Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
