Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

Daiwa Capital Markets Americas (DCMA) has created a new team to drive a continuous improvement culture within the organization, and we are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join us. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for capturing, analyzing and improving end-to-end workflows and business processes across the organization to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability. You will work closely with stakeholders and team members to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to simplify the environment and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • with stakeholders and team members to understand business objectives, process requirements, and pain points.
  • interviews to build current state end-to-end workflows of business processes and identify opportunities for process reengineering and improvement.
  • process improvement plans, define KPIs and metrics to measure process outcomes and track progress.
  • cost-benefit analysis of process improvement options and provide recommendations to DCMA's management.
  • consulting services to internal clients on business process improvement and change management.
  • executive-level communications and reports to convey process improvement results and initiative status.
  • in the development and implementation of new processes, policies, and procedures.
  • with technology teams to develop realistic business requirements for software and system improvements, as needed.
  • training and provide guidance to team members on new processes and procedures.
  • for a continuous improvement culture within the organization.
Business Analyst - Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • degree in Business Administration, Finance, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • years of experience in business process reengineering, process improvement, and/or analysis.
  • analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and quantify process improvement opportunities.
  • with KPIs, metrics, and other tools to measure and track business process outcomes.
  • communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • to work independently and in a team environment.
  • with process mapping, process modeling, and/or process simulation tools a plus.
  • with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
