Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Sr. Ports & Destinations Business Development Business Analyst to work closely with the Global Ports and Destinations Development leadership team to collect, analyze, interpret data and develop recommendations with actionable insights that supports strategic decision-making process for business development, including negotiation of port contracts, commercial agreements, among others. This position will develop deep knowledge/ expertise of the existing Global Ports and Destinations Development functions as well as the Cruise industry.
Essential Functions
- Conduct financial analysis for the negotiation of ports contract by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to business operations, including key metrics, performance indicators, and financial data
- Develop business cases for new port projects and create business plans for negotiation and ongoing management of commercial agreements at our destinations
- Develop regular reporting and dashboards in regards of port commitment/ guarantees, including proactive identification and communication of potential shortfalls
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions
- Competitive intelligence and market analysis: new developments, Deployment shifts, new destinations
- Manage repository for destination contracts to include Heads of Agreements, concession Agreements, Seabed leases and berthing agreements
- Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/BA
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Advanced MS Excel
- Tableau, Power BI
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Experience in process improvement, business requirements gathering, and solution design
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Fluent in Spanish preferred
What we offer
The range for this role’s base salary is $80,000 - $100,000. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.

Paid Time Off

Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 84 hours/year. All employees gain additional vacation time with further tenure.
- Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
