Job Description & Responsibilities
The IT Business Analyst will act as a liaison between various business departments and the IT Department. This position will lead, coordinate, and collaborate with the business teams to analyze business challenges and assess how systems can be implemented to solve them. The BA will understand the business requirements of the users and be able to translate that to specific software requirements for the programming and development teams. They will need both technical skills and the ability to effectively communicate to teams to deliver functional and operational requirements to support the business objectives. System Support includes but is not limited to system troubleshooting, security requests, training, testing and documentation. This position will also entail a lot of EDI and Compliance troubleshooting, testing and set up.
- Provide support for the Full Circle ERP, PLM, B2B, BI, Data and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Also help assist in EDI Set up and support and compliance needs.
- Log, investigate and track technical and functional issues from the users.
- Develop, plan and coordinate implementation project timelines.
- Work with the business and outside programming teams to design and refine processes and procedures.
- Be able to prioritize user requests for system modifications.
- Resolve issues wherever possible and when not, identify and document problems clearly for escalation to Programming.
- Write up technical jobs for programming, track progress and assist in training, testing and documentation.
- Manage all security requests and new user accounts.
- After-hours support is required on an as-needed basis.
- May require some travel.
Requirements
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- BS/BA or equivalent work background plus 3+ years of Applications or Operations Experience
- At least 2 years of Full Circle ERP (Aptean) Experience Required
- EDI Experience required
- PLM Experience a plus
- Apparel Experience strongly preferred
- WMS Experience a plus
- Strong investigation and problem-solving skills, takes ownership, follows issues through to completion. Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously and work independently under deadlines.
