Responsibilities

• Perform business requirements and systems analysis
• Quickly gather and digest domain knowledge about existing and/or proposed systems, capabilities, and limitations
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ceremonies
• Collaborate with end users, stakeholders, and developers to understand and document business processes, gather requirements and decompose high level requirements into detailed requirements
• Translate customer business needs into meaningful requirements and communicate effectively with the development team
• Develop process flow diagrams and models
• Translate functional requirements that can be used by developers to guide design and development activities
• Work with QA to validate developed code against the requirements document
• Help ensure software releases have been appropriately tested with traceability to requirements through liaison with development and testing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience in IT software requirements analysis, including facilitation of requirements gathering sessions.
• 3+ years experience developing requirements documents following SDLC
• 3+ years experience managing and mentoring requirements analysts
• Fundamental knowledge of multiple platforms and technologies
• Experience working on web-based projects that have progressed through the full SDLC.
• Ability to work closely and effectively with the customer and the project team, while communicating clearly with project management, design, development, testing and implementation team
• Strong analytical and system skills
• Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including developers, QA, managers and customers
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, Visio and SharePoint
