We are looking for an Amazon Business Analyst to join the newly created team for Enterprise. To enlarge the market, we want to invest on a new go-to-market with on liners and specifically Amazon representing 50% of this channel segment. Increasing on footprint and market share on the SMB and Prosumer is becoming a top priority for GN over the next 3 years.
We are entering 2024 with a newly built team to address AMZ with dedicated salespeople and a new business analyst role will help us to better understand our performance as well as provide information to take the right direction business-wise with Amazon.
What will you be doing?
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Support the team with interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports answering business requirements where you will transform raw data into meaningful insights.
- Understand, translate, and analyze all Amazon specific KPI’s and acronyms and provide to the sales team the appropriate data and information to help them to take the right business decision and investment cases.
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
- Keep current on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
- Conduct meetings and create presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Document and communicate results of your research.
- Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. (Sales, Marketing, Global Sales & Channel Management, Finance)
- Elaborate and participate actively to the Amazon business review on a weekly basis with the sales team, monthly with the extended management team, and on a quarterly basis with the executive management team.
- Work closely with Amazon AVS to obtain accurate data and share the ad hoc dashboards.
- Support Distributors with relevant data to improve supply and track pass-through claims.
- Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.
- Author and update internal and external documentation related to the AMZ business, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.
- Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
- Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.
Requirements
Required skills and qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in analytics and systems development
- High proficiency with SQL and database management and a strong knowledge of Power BI will be a must.
- Proven analytical abilities.
- Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Mathematics, physics, engineering background is a plus, with algorithms understanding mindset.
- Be able to work in a teamwork environment with various cultures as the job scope covers 3 main regions: NA, EMEA and APAC
Location: Remote U.S. based
What we offer
Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range from $83,000.00 - $109,000.00. In addition to a base salary, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end. Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
