Job Description & Responsibilities
Nakupuna Solutions is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team of talented consultants providing professional services to support the Department of Navy , Office of the General Counsel .
Responsibilities

- Identify , record, and prioritizes requirements for planned use cases for development in Appian
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, program manager, and technical personnel, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
- Analyze data to provide insights, trends, and forecasts that support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Plan and schedule meetings with customers to gather all requirement for development use cases, enhancements, and initiatives defined by leadership and the customers
- Independently and proactively transmit information, obtain and assemble data, prepare and review presentations, and provide clear communication with leadership
- Assist in project planning, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables; track progress and support project implementation.
- Author, review, and edit documentation as required for application functions and features for use by support team and customer. This includes items related to change management and training materials.
- Facilitate change management activities, including training, documentation, and user support to ensure smooth adoption of new solutions.
- Work with customers to understand their business processes and requirements.
- Translating requirements into technical solutions.
- Resolve issues that arise during development.
- Provide support in preparing and executing customer requirements and design workshops to define and refine business and testing requirements, discuss potential solutions, identify risks, etc.
- Assist project manager as required, prepare required documentation, and deliverables.

Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications: Requirements analysis, planning, database management, self-motivated, presenting technical information, problem solving, multi-tasking, ad hoc reporting, data maintenance, exceptional oral and written communications. Additionally, Interface Management skills including but not limited to:
- Interface Control
- Integration and Coordination
- PM Support
- Functional Team Support
- Technical Team Support
- Documentation (SOPs, strategy documents, white papers)
Education and Experience: This position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent 5 years equivalent experience. The following are desirable levels of experience:
Military Installation Access: This position resides on a military installation. Must be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass. Must be able to obtain a favorable National Security Agency Check (NACI) including a FBI fingerprint check. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Clearance: Tier 3 background investigation either favorably completed or underway with a minimum secret security clearance or an interim secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
- Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
What we offer
The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $98,000 - $109,000 (annualized USD). The good faith salary range displayed represents the position at time of posting and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
