Encompass is seeking a motivated, experienced and customer-centric Professional Services Business Analyst. Our rapid growth - both in the number of customers we serve, and in the intricacy of our ERP - has us searching for an experienced analyst with a desire to deliver real results in a face-paced, cross-departmental environment. The Professional Services Analyst will be working within a team helping to maximize customer value across multiple areas of our business through consultation, product enhancement, and resource augmentation. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable translating elaborate business requirements into actionable designs, and will be an authority on our products' technical capabilities as well as limitations. They will provide creative and methodologically rigorous expertise on customer data & business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Build relationships over the phone, through screen share and potentially in person, with customers to identify business goals and limitations with their current approach/solutions
• Define and document data migration solutions for customers integrating various source systems with OBeer/SAP.
• Help to evolve customers' data+tech strategy beyond their status-quo
• Create and perfect customized data solutions that are efficient, supportable and repeatable
• Design and estimate professional services scopes for prospects and customers
• Create robust design documentation, with assistance from technical developers as needed, based on customer and business requirements
• Work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Services and Product to achieve customer needs
• Develop proficiency with product features that are relevant to each customer customization
• Be willing and able to defend your technical Design as needed with technically-minded Customers, and go back to the drawing board to create ad hoc change orders if/when scope changes
• Assist with the testing of integrations and customizations delivered by the development team.
• Assist customer care team with the troubleshooting of delivered integrations and customizations.
• Other duties
• Communicate with OBeer Technical Services team multiple times per week to discuss in-progress estimates & designs own scheduling customer -facing scoping and design calls
• Contribute to internal & external project showcases, sharing project work that has been done and could lead to future projects
• Create and maintain centralized repository (GitHub) of knowledge resources related to custom projects - ensuring it is accessible to all
• Work on internal projects and act as a knowledge resource for the company
• Continue to grow knowledge of Encompass AND Orchestrated features and tools

Qualifications

• 2-4 years total professional services/design/analytical experience with SAP B1.
• Additional experience with Orchestra/OBeer desired
• Experience with Codeless Solutions' BPA, Celigo or other integration solution (desired, but not required).
• Solid customer-facing and critical thinking skills
• Experience interfacing with and presenting to C-level executives
• Deep understanding of ERP, SQL, ETL/ELT, production processes and recurring accounting activities
• Ability to proactively prioritize and manage a high volume of projects simultaneously
• Experience leading client facing and C-Suite stakeholders and bringing business acumen to influence and shape outcomes
• Hyper-attention to written and verbal communication, whether that be via contractual document creation or a verbal conversation with customer
• Ability to visualize and guide towards big-picture goals, while documenting niche technical issues that may not relate, i.e. having a capacity to summarize data needs in compelling ways
• Desire to learn new systems and leveraging data to actualize processes
• Willing to navigate uncharted waters, set a high precedent, but remain humble and hungry to smooth the process between ideological inception to practical implementation
