Position Responsibilities
- Fulfill a range of duties such as supporting the analytics team on projects with Tableau, SQL and R; interrogating data sets and creating strategic recommendations to develop the firms reporting.
- Ability to handle ad-hoc research and reporting requests, including in depth analysis and problem solving.
- Proficient in creating, updating and running SQL queries.
- Creating dashboards and applying data visualization techniques via Tableau.
- Collaborate with multiple end-user groups to lead cross-functional projects, such as finance, accounting, marketing and business operations, to develop reporting and analysis programs.
- Design, develop and deliver accurate, fast and interactive reporting to key business stakeholders.
- Create and standardize the report request process - tracking requests and working with firmwide leadership on prioritization, approvals and rollouts.
- Ensure data quality, including developing error and qa/qc reporting as necessary.
- Build, develop and maintain data models to optimize system processes. Synthesize business needs and create business process maps used to build analysis and data models.
- Implement automation and utilize streamlined reporting where possible to improve functionality, accuracy and efficiency of all team members.
- Enhancing the data and analytics offering, exploring new techniques and working with tools such as Python and R.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong data analysis skills.
- A proven ability of analyzing data and using it to create a business advantage.
- Ability to work independently, willingness to take initiative and demonstrated time management in delivering results is a must.
- 3+ years of professional work experience in a business, operational, financial and marketing environment.
- Advanced Tableau proficiency; certification preferred.
- Advanced SQL ability and proficiency with minimum 2+ years utilizing a programming language (R or Python preferred).
- Experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Experience with Deltek Vision or a ERP system a plus.
- Experience with data modeling to design and develop reporting data marts and semantic models with tools such as Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, Excel, R and Google Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Compensation for this role is based upon experience, qualifications, location, and education and typically ranges from $100,000 to $115,000.
