As a Business Analyst, you will be part of a small team working directly with executive leadership to identify opportunities for revenue growth, system enhancements and effective processes that drive business for TQL. You will be tasked with leveraging tools such as Excel and Power BI to produce actionable reporting and analyses that will support stakeholder objectives.

What you’ll be doing:

• Consult with end users across multiple departments to understand reporting needs and challenges
• Translate user requirements into SQL queries, SSRS reports, and Power BI reports and dashboards using the latest Microsoft technologies
• Take ownership of reporting projects from inception to completion, providing follow-up communication and deliverables until requirements are met
• Design and develop solutions for enterprise and departmental business intelligence (BI), data warehousing, and reporting procedures
• Deliver results with accuracy and urgency on multiple projects
• Provide quality customer service to a diverse group of internal customers

What you need:

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics or related
• 1-3 years of reporting and analytics experience
• Demonstrated experience leading analysis and reporting projects
• Experience writing T-SQL queries against a SQL database using SQL Management Studio
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exposure to data visualization concepts and techniques
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience is preferred
• Exposure to PowerBI.com, Azure and SQL Analysis Services is a plus
• Basic understanding of database administration
