Job Description & Responsibilities
As we continue to grow and expand Gartner Conferences portfolio, we need to develop our analytical resources to accommodate the requirements of the rapidly growing business.
This role will be a part of the Performance and Planning team with primary responsibility supporting Evanta and will be responsible for supporting reporting activities and preparing presentations, documenting processes, and providing data support for strategic decision making.
Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly and weekly operational reporting and presentations (stacks, forecast, productivity, trending, gateways, etc.)
- Prepare executive-level analytics and presentation materials for leadership team
- Collaborate with peers to support building analytical models for short- and long-term planning
- Support annual revenue budgets, monthly forecast processes, and OPEX management
- Validate large operational data sets to develop KPIs, analytical dashboards to improve decision making that drives business performance
- Address ad-hoc operational data requests
Requirements
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, Masters is a plus, preferably in analytics, quantitative, or finance discipline
- 2+ years of business experience
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI: ability to build moderately complex decision support models
- Proficiency in Smartsheets preferred
- Proficiency in SQL preferred

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 69,600 USD - 96,750 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
