Job Description & Responsibilities
Business Analyst for San Francisco, CA to support development of analytics to drive operational decision-making; prepare automated reports, dashboards & data analysis for business stakeholders; create standard operating procedures & flowcharts for business processes; ensure data quality & accuracy; explore & validate data to derive actionable insights and provide data-driven recommendations to business stakeholders.
Requirements
Requires Bachelor’s in Operations Research, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or closely-related field & 2 yrs experience developing analytics within transactional systems and databases, data warehouses, and Salesforce; using Salesforce & data reporting tools, including Tableau, PowerBI and/or Looker, to create data visualizations and dashboards; writing scripts in SQL, LookML and/or VBA to automate business reporting; performing root cause analysis to identify & resolve data discrepancies; reviewing product & engagement data quality for accuracy and completeness; providing tactical insights to business & marketing teams using Looker, PowerBI, Braze, Heap.io and/or Google Analytics; analyzing statistical reports to uncover patterns & correlations between product features and user engagement data; performing master data management of product sales and/or user account data for business reporting in Salesforce, Looker & PowerBI; and using Confluence & SharePoint to identify opportunities to improve document retention and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Telecommuting permitted from home office location within reasonable commuting distance of San Francisco, CA up to 3 days per week.
What we offer
Salary Range: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $110,000.00 to $125,000.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. The offered salary may vary within this range based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
