Job Description & Responsibilities
IT Business Analyst is responsible for the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments. They collaborate with Product Owners and business leaders to manage team backlogs and help define and deliver strategic visions. They affect change by helping leaders articulate business needs to facilitate working sessions with architects in creating transformational solutions. They operate in a solution-oriented environment and are encouraged to identify process improvement opportunities to drive systemic change in the organization.
Essential Functions
- Create detailed business requirements documents, project charters, and other analysis documentation to facilitate IT project management and IT product and program development teams in understanding, scheduling, and tracking product development projects
- Serve as a liaison between product and program development teams, business stakeholders and product and program owners to determine business need of software products and the technical delivery of business requests
- Lead backlog refinement sessions to manage priority of Operational and Strategic work for the development teams
- Lead sessions with business stakeholders and product owners to define, prioritize, and track annual road maps of product development initiatives
- Engage with business stakeholders and product owners to guide project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and facilitate prioritization of competing business needs
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including, but not limited to: Creating UAT plans, facilitating identification of UAT participants, creation of UAT Issues Document to track identified bugs, priority, and resolution
- Use project and task management software to track software development progress, and monitor production issues
- Manage company-wide communications regarding software enhancements and project statuses
- Conduct research and analysis on healthcare/user data
- Plan and manage multiple assignments of varying scope
- Assist in the research, analysis, problems, and coordination of production software issues
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on at least one program or product supported by development teams
Requirements
Job Qualifications
- Degree related to Analysis, Technical/Business Administration, or Communication fields and 3 years relevant experience, or at least 6 years' total specific Business Analyst roles and experience
- T-SQL experience (writing queries, analyzing SQL data, etc.)
- 4 years Demonstrated experience with SDLC (Software development Life Cycle) in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- 6 years' Experience creating software development requirements documents
- 6 years' Experience writing development tasks from requirements documents
- 4 years' Experience interacting with senior leadership
- Organization and time management skills
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and in various team settings

Working Conditions
- Work is performed indoors in a home office environment- not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
- Frequent exposure to VDT screen and computer.
- Physical demands include constant ability to remain in a stationary position, move about inside an office or remote setting, able to communicate and exchange information with others, able to inspect information, and able to perform repetitive motion with arms and fingers.
- Mental demands include constant ability to interpret data, problem solve, make decisions, and organize and plan.
What we offer
The starting salary that Lucet reasonably expects to pay for this position ranges from $90,000 - $108,000 annually, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills, education/degrees, certifications, prior experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of Lucet's incentive plan based on both company performance and individual performance.
