Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

You will be a core part of the Security and Collaboration Strategy and Planning Operations team. As a Business Analyst, you will help define, articulate, and prioritize the work needed to drive design across various products and teams to ensure we build the best possible solutions most efficiently. You'll also work on innovative technologies and microservices in a dynamic and agile environment. Our portfolio of products uses various technologies and services, ranging from Java and JavaScript to back-end technologies like Kafka queues and Snowflake Databases. This role will be responsible for the entire product life cycle, including requirement analysis, architecture design, code implementation, functional and performance testing, deployment, and support. Working with a small scrum team, you'll apply agile development practices to deliver on this work.

Who'll You'll Work With

In this position, you'll drive the requirements for operational and GTM processes to support SaaS business operations across multiple business groups within our Security and Collaboration teams. You will partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across functions and business groups to lead process improvement initiatives and discuss process alternatives to arrive at best practices. Working closely with domain experts, you will formulate a strategy to scale these operations across our team. Our mission is to enable Business Collaboration capabilities for employees, our customers & partners and, in parallel, deliver Software Platforms that drive simplification, automation, and intelligence for CRM processes.

Who You Are

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive capability co-design sessions, requirements assessment and evaluate IT solutions on quality, then influence options to deliver.
  • Align with business architecture business rules, policies, critical business decisions, cross-program dependencies, and high-level solution designs.
  • Evaluate solutions in the light of operational impacts and influence to enhance the quality of capability delivery and partner experience.
  • Support testing strategy and plan, writes test scenarios (SIT/UAT), and Go/No-Go decision.
  • Implement and improve SAAS business processes end-to-end.
  • Act as a main liaison between the DevOps team and the business stakeholders.
  • Identify, document, and communicate process changes to users (Support Organization, Change Management)
  • Apply Agile methodologies, working in sprints
  • Collaborate with Sales teams and leadership
  • Facilitate requirement sessions with end-users, detailing requirements and user stories
Business Analyst - Job requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience or equivalent industry experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant product management or business analyst experience in SaaS offerings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales cloud implementations
  • Experience working in Aha and JIRA
  • Familiarity with Cisco technologies
  • Experience working with sales teams
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to influence customers, internal or external, and work closely with them to identify acceptable solutions.
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Experience crafting detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Excellent planning, interpersonal, and time leadership skills.
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
