Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our healthcare Data & Analytics team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the delivery of analytics solutions developed by our enterprise data warehousing and BI development resources. This role requires a deep understanding of business intelligence products and deliverables, strong analytical capabilities, and exceptional communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with end-users and delivery of analytical solutions organization-wide.
The Details:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements to ensure existing products meet evolving needs and objectives.
- Define scope, objectives, and timelines for enhancements or modifications to existing analytical solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for existing analytical products, providing support and guidance to stakeholders and end-users across the organization.
- Utilize agile methodologies and project management best practices to drive continuous improvement and optimization of analytical products.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Support user enablement by conducting user training sessions, creating educational materials, and supporting ongoing user engagement.
- Create and maintain documentation, including knowledge bases and metrics & methodologies, to support the effective use of analytical products.
- Maintain user security of analytic products ensuring compliance with IT controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging analytical insights to drive business value.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders to gather feedback and support future enhancement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Provide production support and triage BI product issues or feedback, by querying, analyzing, validating, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analytics, contributing to the advancement of analytical capabilities within the organization.
Requirements

Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, Excel, and basic data modeling/data warehousing techniques.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI development teams.
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations and industry trends.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a business analyst, product owner, or project manager, preferably in the healthcare industry.

Pay Range: $70,000-$90,000 annually. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience, geographical location, and size/complexity of the program being supported.
