Job Description & Responsibilities

Either US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for this role. In addition, the selected applicant must submit to a government background investigation and be favorably adjudicated before their first day.
TCG is pleased to offer remote employment in the following states: AL, AZ, CO, CT, DE, GA, HI, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NC, OH, OR, PA (excluding the City of Philadelphia), SC, TN, UT, VA, WV, and WI.
Responsibilities
- Elicit and document business and system requirements, making recommendations for business process improvements
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and technical staff, including senior architects, to design and estimate system requirements and development
- Participate in and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with end users
- Develop user stories with acceptance criteria
- Lead and mentor other business analysts
- Coordinate user acceptance testing activities with agency business users
- Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts and perform functional testing of the system
- Ensure that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live
- Support users with application training and technical support
Requirements
Required Skills
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in an Agile Scrum environment
- A minimum of 2 years performing unit, integration, system, and regression software testing
- Proven ability to act as a liaison between analysts, developers, clients, and other stakeholders during all phases of development
- Proven ability to facilitate effective customer requirements-gathering sessions
- Proven ability to facilitate effective customer user acceptance testing
- Comfort collaborating with developers and other analysts to define system needs
- Demonstrated ability to learn and contribute quickly to project requirements
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Experience documenting requirements in User Story format with clear Acceptance Criteria
- Experience facilitating customer requirements-gathering sessions and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Experience working as a member of an Agile/Scrum software development team
- Experience working with databases, SQL, and Web-based applications
- Experience working with iterative systems development life-cycle and documentation
- Possess independent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, creativity and a customer service-oriented personality
- Initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Understanding of the basic principles of system analysis and quality assurance
- Attention to detail
- Clear and concise communication, writing, and presentation skills
- US citizenship and the ability to pass a Federal government clearance
Preferred Skills
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Experience with relevant CMMI Level 2 & 3 processes (Requirements Development and Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Technical Solution)
- Requirements traceability matrix (RTM) development and management
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; four (4) years of experience may be substituted instead of a degree

Salary Range: $73,500 - $95,000
