Job Description & Responsibilities
This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.
Translate end user expectations/outcomes to real design specifications. Work closely with project manager(s) and business architect to manage customer expectations. Act as a liaison between the business users and technical developers, bridging process and technical needs.
Business Analyst Responsibilities Include
- Leads and performs requirements definition, analysis, functional design, and implementation of new or modified applications.
- Consults with customers to proactively identify technology solution opportunities for project management and enhancement.
- Collects, evaluates, and compresses data and information from multiple sources.
- Resolves conflicts and differentiates between actual and required user needs.
- Uses strong analytical reasoning to understand end user's requirements and translates them into operational application.
- Authors and publishers' quality documentation covering all functional and business-system requirements.
- Documents and performs system configuration to meet business needs.
- Understands technical designs as well as the specifications.
- Leads in the design and creation of test cases/scenarios.
- Plans and leads user acceptance testing.
- Supports business process improvement through optimization of staff, process, and technology.
- Works with vendors to resolve functionality issues.
- Recommends creative and innovative solutions to business or technical problems; ensures work is technically sound and in compliance with established standards, codes, and regulations.
- Delivers timely results within budget; simplifies or eliminates low value-added work processes.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Business Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, human resources, or IT, and 5 years of business analysis experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with processes supporting human resources, benefits, payroll, time and labor, finance, accounting, procurement, or other departments within government contracting enterprise environment required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced architecture and design skills including the ability to interview, gather requirements and translate into detailed design/requirements documents.
- Ability to prioritize work and successfully meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to solve problems through systematic analysis of processes with sound judgment.
- Ability to influence or persuade others under positive or negative circumstances, adapt to different styles, listen critically, and collaborate.
- Ability to manage all work teams including technical, creative, and production, as well as external suppliers and contractors.
- Ability to interface with clients to scope projects, manage budgets, and direct the development cycle from inception to completion.
- Ability to manage large amounts of complex information, draw sound conclusions, and communicate knowledge clearly.

What we offer
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Business Analyst: $70,000 - $80,000
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
