Job Description & Responsibilities
The ISP New Business Analyst prepares paperwork, scans, and processes incoming new business trades. Business trades may include outside funds, 529 Plans or variable annuities. Any trades that do not meet the required criteria will be routed to Quality of Business (QOB) for further review and correction. Trades that are processed will be mailed to the appropriate fund companies. Trades that cannot be processed will be returned to the writing Representative. Outgoing mail is tracked to ensure proper delivery and the candidate will also perform quality control check on processed work as well as daily reconciliation to ensure all trades have been processed correctly within department standards. This position is in office Monday-Friday 8a-5p.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, And ABILITIES
- High School Diploma or GED
- Familiarity with database, mainframe, and BNY Mellon systems is a plus
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills related to the successful achievement of departmental goals
- Ability to self-motivate and work in a team environment
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent understanding of operational functions
- Minimum typing skills of 30 wpm
- Intermediate knowledge of computer skills and Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet mail
- Proof reading skills
- Ability to identify problems and formulate solutions to problems
