Job Description & Responsibilities
Location: Washington, D.C.; hybrid after 90 days
Status: Full-time; Exempt
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer

Typical Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday; hybrid after 90 days

Monex USA guides thousands of clients, from a broad spectrum of industry sectors, through the intricacies of the currency markets. Monex USA is looking for a bright, inquisitive, skilled, and highly motivated business analyst to join our IT team to analyze and document product solutions for evolving needs and business processes. This role supports our internal teams and IT software application users. The candidate will gather sufficient details from the business to understand the goals they are trying to meet, analyze current process and system requirements, and document user stories for the software development team.
Candidates must be able to commute to the DC office. During the first 90 days we ask new employees to work out of the DC office full-time as they ramp up. After 90 days, we currently operate on a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with key stakeholders in Sales, Operations, Dealing, Compliance and Marketing teams to determine business objectives and success factors, and document Agile user stories, business requirements, functional requirements, and design specifications
- Help evolve Monex USA systems and a global technology platform for the Monex group
- Collaborate with team members to collect, analyze, and evaluate information from multiple sources
- Assist management in prioritizing projects based on overall impact in revenue generation, cost savings, or client experience

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- A BA/BS degree
- Experience developing Agile user stories for highly complex internal and external corporate applications and workflows
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organize, collaborate and communicate across functional and technical lines
- Ability to commute to the DC office (full time during the first 90 days, and 3 days per week thereafter)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in core banking or payments
- Product management experience
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Salesforce and Jira
- Scrum master experience
- Computer-related degree

What we offer
Compensation:
The annual salary range is $85,000 to $120,000 based on experience with a 10% annual bonus.
