Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

YOU

You want to be an important member of a strong team of other makers who take pride in their work and support each other. As a Business Operations Analyst, you will assist in driving the development and deployment of strategic initiatives through analyzing internal and external data. You will support multiple complex projects and drive outcomes with optimal results.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)

Design, build, maintain self-service analytical data models, reports, stories/dashboards using Business Intelligence tools. (40%)

Support business stakeholders with scalable analytic solutions that help generate data-driven insights, monitor KPI trends and perform root cause analysis. (20%)

Support ad-hoc analytics needs by quickly developing analytic solution and assisting in interpretation of data. (10%)

Integrate data from primary(S4/HANA) and secondary data sources to generate insights and analyze scenarios for initiatives and strategic projects (10%)

Staying up-to date on latest features/enhancements on analytical tools and providing training when necessary to the team (10%)

Support with pricing-related tasks, such as maintaining net pricing databases, ensuring pricing accuracy, and assigning pricing to customers (10%)

Desired Skills And Experience

If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Preferred– 2 years’ experience in data analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required
  • Highly detail-oriented with ability to prioritize tasks independently, accurately complete work under tight deadlines, and provide timely and accurate responses to data and information requests
  • Ability to interpret and understand data to provide actionable insight
  • Problem Solving: Identify options for solving a problem and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses.
  • Experience in BI tools like SAP Analytic Cloud, Power BI, Tableau is desired
  • S/4HANA experience is desired

Travel

  • This job requires 10% domestic travel.

Work Status & Location

  • This full-time, exempt position is located in Riverside CA.

  • Relocation is not available for this position.
