Job Description & Responsibilities
At Reside, we are known for innovative solutions that solve problems for our wide range of clients. Looking for a qualified individual to serve as a vital link between our information technology capacity and business objectives. The successful candidate should support and ensure the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features. Our Business Analyst will work closely with all departments to review, analyze, create, and solve solutions to streamline business practices and systems.
Essential Functions
- Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
- Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
- Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
- In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making
- Technical experience with programming languages like Python, C# and SQL, plus familiarity with data visualization, machine learning and artificial intelligence tools.
- Solid experience in writing SQL queries
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills.
Day To Day
- Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.
- Perform quality assurance.
- Define reporting and alerting requirements.
- Own and develop relationships with partners, collaborating to optimize and enhance our integrations.
- Help design, document, and maintain system processes while overseeing Reside’s Platform as gatekeeper for all departments.
- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the product team.
- Communicate key insights and findings to the product team
- Stay vigilant for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues, and deliver better value to the customer and users.
- Assist in gathering, building, and deploying tools and dashboards through Reside’s Power BI Platform.

Requirements

- Two or more years of experience in a Business Analyst role
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
- Ability to collaborate with high functioning teams and individuals to meet common goals.
Required Education & Experience
- BA in Business Analytics, Business Administration or Business Information Systems preferred.
Work Environment
Usual office working conditions. This position will have desk space with a computer and a phone. The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises. Remote candidates accepted.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands. The employee must have the ability to use a computer keyboard and mouse and the ability to dial, answer, and talk on a telephone. The employee is occasionally required to walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. This job requires the ability to occasionally work in stressful conditions and remain focused for extended periods of time. Ability to lift to 30 pounds; boxes, documents and/or other items.
What we offer
Compensation: $65,000 to $71,000
Position type: Full-time
Expected work hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm May include holidays and/or alternate days or hours as needed.
Travel: This position will require travel 5% of the time.
Work Authorization: This employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
