Job Description & Responsibilities
Crocs is seeking a Business Analyst to bring passion in delivering enterprise analytics solutions to support our digital channel across the globe.
You're hard working and love fast paced, ever-changing landscapes. You’re passionate about data, making sense of it, and presenting it in ways that provides better decision-making. You are detail-oriented, but don't lose sight of the big picture. You have a detailed understanding of enterprise analytics including: how data is acquired, transformed, and loaded into an enterprise data warehouse; and how to develop Power BI datasets and reports. Partnering with different business teams excites you to be a part of a transformative effort. Your mission will be to help to enable the Crocs enterprise to make bigger, bolder decisions faster.
What You'll Do
Agile Analytics Delivery:
- Responsible for bringing Power BI analytics solutions to life that deliver business value for the digital channel teams
- Support projects and sprints through design, build, test & deployment as an independent analyst on our agile team of users and data engineers
- Responsible for understanding end-to-end data flows and identifying data dependencies in support of delivery, release, and change management.
Data Visualization and Dataset Design & Delivery:
- Write and refine user stories (requirements) for data pipelines, reports, & dashboards by gathering information from the digital channel teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally and iteratively deliver Power BI datasets, measures, and visualizations
- Assist in preparation for and execution of testing with attention to detail
- Manages testing of new data developments and partners with others to deliver on testing goals.
Building and Sharing Analytics Expertise:
- Provide advice and support to Power BI leads within the digital channel teams
- Actively participate in Crocs global analytics center of excellence
- Consistently educate yourself in the latest features and capabilities within analytics platforms (Power BI, Snowflake, Power Automate, etc.)
Data Governance:
- Responsible for solving data related issues and communicating resolutions with other solution domains.
- Identify process / data gaps, define approach to fix them and propose solutions and business owners
- Define actions required to achieve global use and understanding of Tier 1 KPIs
- Work with the business teams to deliver and test the fixes, monitor and manage progress.
Requirements
What You'll Bring to the Table
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, data analytics, equivalent degree or experience.
Minimum Experience : 3-5 years in a similar analytical role
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- At least 3 years of experience with Power BI
- Understanding and/or experience in Snowflake or other similar cloud data warehouse & data lake solution
- Knowledge of digital analytics, marketing, channel delivery, etc.
- Proven ability to analyze, test, and normalize data.
- Ability to quickly absorb new business processes and determine cross functional dependencies
- Passion for Data Analytics
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; balancing strategic alignment with technology roadmap and emerging industry trends with practical delivery.
- Understanding of structured and unstructured database management in a large organization
- Passion for change
- Strong proficiency in and passion for data visualization design and build
- Strong meeting facilitation skills
- Unparalleled ability to pay attention to detail
- Understanding of working within an agile methodology (i.e. Kanban, scrum, etc.) a plus
- Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Power BI certification, DAX, UX experience or DevOps experience is a plus
What we offer
Salary or Pay Range: $85,000 - $110,000
Workplace Persona: Connector
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
