Job Description & Responsibilities
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.It is preferred that the candidate be in a commutable distance to Raleigh, NC.
This Business Analyst III performs complex data analysis to identify factors that affect business profitability, growth, and efficiency. Determines improvements or solutions to address identified issues. Produces and updates reporting and dashboards, frequently creating new coding and processes with minimal manager oversight. Presents complex analytical results to various business partners and stakeholders. Serves in a consultancy capacity with business stakeholders - work is strongly focused on producing analytics and actionable insights for stakeholders and partners. Communicates and distills complicated data sets and analyses to various business partners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs advanced data analysis, effectively communicating and directing analysis output.
- Operational Support - Provides support for business operations by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to improve team practices. Assists in streamlining daily work-flow for overall unit, resolving escalated matters where possible. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. May serve as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units.
- Identifying Objectives - Determines business needs through complex analysis and reporting. Develops strategies to achieve company and department goals, and communicates these through the use of specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation.
- Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on reporting.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Analytics, or Modeling, or Reporting
OR
- High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Analytics, or Modeling, or Reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Alteryx/SAS/Tableau.
- Experience in data management and transformation, data modeling, and banking acumen is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
What we offer
If hired in NC, SC, VA , the base pay for this position is generally between $86.700 and $115,600 per Yr. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives,bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
