Job Description & Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst within our Data & Analytics Team, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our organization's data strategy and implementation processes. This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate across several teams, contribute to innovative projects, and kickstart your career in the dynamic field of data analytics.
Responsibilities
- Business Partnership and Documentation: Forge strong partnerships with various business units to understand their data and analytics requirements thoroughly. Translate these needs into actionable insights and data solutions. Document requirements meticulously, ensuring clarity and completeness for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Requirements Development and Technical Documentation: Lead in gathering, analyzing, and meticulously documenting detailed requirements for data-driven projects. Facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including project charters, requirements specifications, design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
- Data Strategy Support and Process Improvement: Contribute to aligning data initiatives with the organization's overall strategy. Offer insights and suggestions to improve data processes and systems. Stay updated on industry trends to enhance our approach continually. Implement process improvement strategies and document procedures for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
- Regular Status Meetings and Communication: Conduct regular status meetings with project team members and stakeholders to communicate progress and address any issues or concerns. Ensure that communication is clear, concise, and well-documented to facilitate understanding and alignment across all stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Foundational Understanding and Technical Writing: Strong grasp of the system development life cycle (SDLC) and software project management methodologies. Ability to meticulously document requirements, designs, and processes using technical writing best practices.
- Interest in Financial Markets and Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of financial markets, investment types, and portfolio management strategies. Previous exposure to investment management firms or financial services organizations is a plus. Proficiency in technical writing tools and technologies is advantageous.
- Additional Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with data analysis tools and technologies like SQL, Python, or Tableau is advantageous.

- Must be willing to work from the New York office and travel as necessary.
What we offer
New York City Only: salary ranges are specific to market location; the salary range for this position is USD $80,000 to $110,000 and eligible for annual bonus. Antares takes into consideration an individual’s background, training, transferable skills, business needs, experience and market demands in determining final salary.
