Job Description & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for the position should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Computer Information Systems. The Business Analyst will be part of the Workday Financial Management Support Team and work collaboratively with workstream leads to implement new features in Workday. This will enhance the experience of both end-users and central-users. The role requires maintaining the configuration of the Workday financial system, and the successful candidate will receive formal Workday training.

Essential Duties
- Contribute to product development by delivering new features to enhance the Workday Financial System.
- Gather and document functional requirements for use by developers. Serve as the liaison between functional users and technical developers.
- Coordinate testing of new features and integrations.
- Through formal training gain a high level expertise of the Workday financial system including business process configuration, security, system configuration and report writing.
- Troubleshoot accounting user issues in timely manner
- Provide training and support for users and liaison for integrations to third party systems.
- Responsible for business process configurations, testing, and deployment while ensuring data integrity
- Ensure change management procedures are followed.
- Experience in using effective time management skills.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree AND two (2) years of experience in procedural, management or systems analysis work; OR, Six (6) years of experience in procedural, management, or systems analysis work; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/ or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Computing Information Systems preferred.
- Experience in supporting a financial system application.
- Experience with project planning, testing, documentation and execution.
- Experience in providing support to end-users related to a software application.
- Experience with gathering and documenting functional requirements
- Experience creating or completing test cases related to a software application.
- Experience with developing and maintaining work instructions or process guides for a software application.
- Experience completing daily routine tasks and monitoring that ensures the integrity of a software application.
Working Environment
Position is eligible for telecommuting two days a week after initial onboarding and training
has been completed.
- Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: Computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone, and associated computer/technology peripherals.
- This position receives regular review of objectives.
- Performance is measured on completion of project assignments and meeting departmental objectives.
What we offer
You will receive a signing bonus of $750 after your hire date and a $1,250 bonus after completing six months of employment with the department. All bonus payments are subject to applicable payroll taxes.
Salary Range
$65,000 - $70,000 per year, DOE
