Job Description & Responsibilities
ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented Sr. Business Analyst to join the Product & PMO Team! Individual reports to the Senior Product Manager. Role is remote; must reside in the United States.
About The Role
As part of Mint Mobile / Ultra Mobile’s Product Team, you’ll play an integral role in the ongoing evolution of our products, platforms, channels, and customer experience. In partnership with Marketing, Engineering, and other internal teams, you’ll achieve rapid commercialization of new services and offerings, allowing the business to maintain its lead position as a disruptor within the telecom industry. As a new member of the team, you’ll be joining an established group of Product experts who are champions of the brand and always lead with action bias, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
Your usual day of awesomeness includes:
- Manages the Product intake process and related lifecycle.
- Meets with operational teams including Customer Care, Sales Operations, Revenue Assurance, Legal, Supply Chain, and Technical Operations, to ensure their requirements are captured and incorporated into broader program requirements and design.
- Collaborates with others to transform complex, incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into actionable recommendations backed by structured thinking and data-driven insights.
- Coordinates with Product Managers and Developers to make sure requirements are feasible based on our system architecture and limitations.
- Prioritizes activities based on business and customer impact.
- Reviews and evaluates business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Tracks Product Intake requests as they move downstream, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
- Meets regularly with other Product team members to discuss ongoing projects so as to effectively prioritize efforts across multiple teams and lanes.
- Collaborates with partners and Dev / Execution teams to create and communicate anticipated release schedules.
- Conducts analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to identify product innovation opportunities or root cause of issues, and assess opportunity size and impact. May work with data scientists to answer complex questions or identify meaningful insights from data.
- Produces flow diagrams for the customer journey and underlying system processes.
- Generates and maintains dashboards and reports that track product backlog health and success metrics.
- Works multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Supports Product team leads as needed in the planning and execution of various programs.
- Conducts specific ad hoc analysis and provides insights to management on request.
Requirements
What You Bring
- At least 3-5 years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment; 3+ specialized in a relevant technical field (e.g. Telco Network, Billing, or Software Engineering).
- Experience in the telecommunications industry, especially prepaid, is also a plus.
- Strong requirements elicitation with effective written skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data.
- Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools.
- Ability to understand complex product, service, and operational behaviors from both a business and technical aspect, and translate them into robust, well-organized, concise written requirements.
- Experience in all phases of the SDLC for large and complex projects.
- Ability to develop a strategic vision and plan for future products and services.
- Experience with both Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid product development methodologies.
- Experience working in conjunction with Business Development and external partners.
- Collaborative work style and the ability to synthesize inputs from several parties, bringing people together to align around the best options that achieve the common goals of the team.

In support of the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the range of starting pay for this role is $95,000 - $115,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. We also offer a variety of benefits including health, disability insurance, 401 (k), flexible spending accounts, EAP, education reimbursement, parental leave, unlimited vacation, bonuses, and company paid holidays.
