Job Description & Responsibilities
The Business Analyst IV will provide solutions that help attain business outcomes. The Business Analyst will be responsible for helping the team's operational support strategy by working directly with service owners and engineers across our organization to catalogue and assess services, document support designs, prioritize, and implement processes to support the applications they manage.
Scope:
- Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
- Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities across different teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans
- Regularly communicate project status, updates, and key metrics to stakeholders and senior management
- Conduct project meetings, facilitate discussions, and ensure effective collaboration and coordination among team members
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and quality standards
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and external partners as required
- Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting teamwork, motivation, and professional development
- Participate in post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the IT industry
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Linux operating systems and infrastructure
- Familiarity with Linux-based technologies, tools, and platforms
- Previous experience gathering business requirements for end user computing and/or related engineering services.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project, Trello)
- Well versed in developing process and system design documentation with the ability to perform gap analysis and present to technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities to drive project success and resolve conflicts
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing projects involving Linux infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, automation tools, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies
- Understanding of Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience in software development projects and familiarity with programming languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly adapt to changing project requirements

Salary Range
$96,900.00 - $150,000.00 USD (Salary)
- Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
- Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position. Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
