Job Description & Responsibilities
The business analyst will gather, analyze and document requirements, conduct market research and support the product team in making data-driven decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates with managers and clients to assess business issues, gather and define requirements, and write effective functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Become a subject matter expert in how business users perform their jobs. Write use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create clear and concise documentation, including JIRA tickets and user stories. Uses Jira to track and analyze information.
- Support the product team in planning and executing successful product launches.
- Comfortable holding professional conversations with our target buyers and users.
- Communicate with customers and prospects to get the ‘voice of the customer’.
- Facilitate effective meetings and consensus building, without compromising speed or execution.
- Reviews and analyzes workforce issues to prevent potential problems.
- Defines new data requirements and creates reports to support the requirements.
Requirements
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in related field.
- Three or more years related experience or equivalent.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making.
- Experience with best practice agile scrum development principles.
- Bankruptcy industry experience a plus.
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
What we offer
The annual salary for this role is currently $75,000.00-$105,000.00. The Company’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of various factors, including job-related skills, relevant education and experience, abilities of the applicant and equity with other team members.
The salary range listed here is subject to change at any time, at the Company’s discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
