Job Description & Responsibilities
American National is seeking a P&C Business Analyst to be responsible for executing tasks associated with the success of the property and casualty organization related to strategic objectives and product support. In this role, you will work independently in complex situations while selecting the appropriate techniques to accomplish business analysis tasks in different situations. This is a full-time, in-office position out of Springfield, MO, or Albany, NY, as part of a highly collaborative team!
What Will You Do?
- Prioritizes business analyst work to meet stakeholder needs and project timelines.
- Communicates and manages stakeholder expectations from the beginning to the end of the effort.
- Ensures that elicitation results link to requirements.
- Validates that the documented requirements match the intention of the stakeholders’ needs.
- Works among stakeholders to build a consensus on the requirements’ prioritization to ensure the analysis and implementation is focused on the most critical requirements.
- Assesses the impact of change to a business case; communicates the impact and facilitates stakeholder consensus.
- Analyzes cost/benefit and risk of change.
- Assesses that all requirements can demonstrate the delivery of value.
- Develops user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three or more years of experience.
- Strong experience with Office applications required (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Guidewire ClaimCenter is beneficial
What we offer
Salary for this position can range from $63,472.50 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $95,199.00 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.
