KBX Technology Solutions, LLC in Green Bay, WI is seeking an IT Business Analyst that facilitates business process improvements via the methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of functional business specifications. This resource manages the requirements development process through the design, analysis, specification and verification of multiple levels of requirements from an end-to-end perspective and supports the ongoing management of the requirements. This position will also coordinate and manage the implementation and/or integration of products, or new features for clients, including client training.
Our Team
As an IT Business Analyst, you will be part of a technical product team that interacts equally with members of the IT team and business stakeholders. This team uses an Agile methodology to drive results and create a software product that delivers compelling business outcomes and results to customers in the Transportation Asset Management domain. This team formulates high-quality user stories based on input from interactions with Product Managers, Product Owners, Software Developers, QA, Scrum Masters and UX professionals and customers.
What You Will Do
- Build relationships with our business partners to discover opportunities and build technical solutions that optimize business processes
- Challenge customers respectfully to think about different options – comfortable providing them with options rather than just perform what they request
- Lead enhancements/projects requiring full project life cycle (requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation)
- Foster a professional work environment and consistently looks for innovative ways to provide value to the business
- Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates
- Develop functional test plans, and user acceptance test plans, and related scenarios
- Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams for projects you are assigned
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Strong initiative and be a self-starter with limited management oversight
- Proven analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment with other developers and analysts
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully on mid-sized to large projects
Requirements
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in system design and project management
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
- Experience facilitating interactions with technical and non-technical stakeholders and business user
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience managing customer interactions
- Experience with Agile or Scrum or Kanban methodologies
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in Transportation or Logistics including Asset Management, Yard Management and Warehouse Management
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Supply Chain Management
- Experience extracting data with SQL and creating visualizations for customers
- Experience working with QA team members
- Experience with web-based applications and microservices architecture
- Customer implementation experience
- Experience creating and maintaining process flow diagrams and data models
What we offer
For this role, we anticipate paying $80,000 - $120,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
