Job Description & Responsibilities
IEM is looking for a Full Time-Business Analyst who will be directly involved in developing the strategy and execution plans for the business. You will work with disaster recovery and emergency management program experts to provide systems support in a dynamic, flexible environment.
Primary Location:
- Candidates can originate from anywhere in the United States, you will work remotely from home or personal office location
- Preference given to candidates in Eastern and Central Time Zones
- All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed.

Essential Functions
- Analyzing data to help drive the approach and prioritization for the initiative
- Building business cases and justification with data to drive decisions
- Creating executive updates and reports to effectively communicate the vision, priorities, approach and progress of the program
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience
- 2-5 years of experience with strategy, analytics and project management
- Familiarity with Technology and transformation initiatives preferred
- An understanding of Agile Methodologies
- Ability to create technical solutions to business problems and translate into user stories for development.
- Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of database tools, BI toolsets, and Excel
- Problem solving, research, and training skills
- Comfortable in a fast changing environment with ability to quickly reprioritize needs
- Strong presentation skills, proficient with PowerPoint and graphical data representation
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable in an executive setting
- Inquisitive thinker with a curious, strategic mindset, with the ability to analyze processes and recommend improvements to streamline processes
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence others
- Ability to effectively manage projects, stakeholders, and conduct successful meetings
