Job Description & Responsibilities
ECS is looking for an IT Business Analyst. Mission Computing Solutions provides IT resources and expertise to mission organizations, enterprise, and operations to identify and understand current and future IT requirements through end-to-end solutions. Duties:
- Perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Assist users in accessing and using Application systems.
- Analyze and study complex system requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and interdisciplinary team environment.
- Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.
- Great communicator, ability to assess technical needs of a non-technical partner.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Confluence, and Teams
- Assist in applying common best practices for the industry to the customer using a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and to identify relevant issues and considerations in selecting application software packages.
- Assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components and help to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed.
- Typical areas addressed include IT and Operations. Identify information technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect the functional area’s ability to support/meet organizational goals. Support the development of functional area strategies for enhanced IT
- Develop communication tools to gather use-case of different IT products.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
- At least 4 years’ experience in related duties
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field or 6 years’ additional relevant experience in lieu of degree
What we offer
Salary Range: $98,094.24 - $118,094.24
