Job Description & Responsibilities
This is a Remote Position, candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to one of the following states for eligibility: AZ, CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MA, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, or WI
Our Business Analyst is a key link between Product Management, Customers and Development. They work to analyze financial reports, conduct market research and operating procedures, strategizing ideas to improve business operations and meeting with company executives and other stakeholders to provide suggestions based on their analysis.
What You’ll Do
- Identify specific business and automation opportunities.
- Assist with project management for selected projects.
- Coordinate with different departmental teams to produce better business outcomes.
- Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents.
- Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to understand business performance.
- Analyze process issues and bottlenecks and tom make improvements.
- Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product manager on roadmap planning and prioritization.
- Analyze the requirements while creating the very first version of the requirements document.
Requirements
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business or related technology field required.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in business analysis, quality analysis or a related HCM SaaS software experience.
- Proven experience with HCM SaaS software applications.
- Experience with context switching while still delivering on commitments.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work with them to determine solutions.
- Highly effective communication skills between all functions across the business.
- Passion for understanding and following HCM, specifically payroll tax and compliance industry trends, and how those trends can influence.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the Human Capital Management (HCM) industry and payroll tax applications.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent documentation skills. Advanced Excel skills.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of Jira and AWS.
What we offer
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000 depending upon level of experience.
