Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

The Service Reliability Organization’s (SRE) mission is to deliver a best-in-class customer experience by ensuring the effective delivery and support of Workday’s technology stack to our customers. About The Role

Are you ready to take your knowledge in technology, your passion for learning & enablement, and your enthusiastic problem solving to deliver operational solutions? This is a hybrid role that combines communication, project management, and business operations all in one! You will lead communications for the organization, drive learning and enablement projects, and assist in BizOps functions for reporting, data analytics, and planning. We’ll rely on you to listen to our users, identify trends and patterns, and recommend system and/or process solutions that make our work day brighter.

  • Take a meaningful role in driving our enablement and adoption strategy, including using analytics tools to help the team understand adoption performance and continuously increase engagement.
  • Contribute to dashboard and reporting creation, data analytics, and business process documentation. Use digital tools to package content and analytics that deliver an engaging and inclusive user experience.
  • Lead effective meetings, understand, and document dependencies and action items, champion collaboration, keep everyone on track and organized.
  • Act as a liaison between functional, technical, and management to ensure understanding and alignment with regards to requirements, testing, and project sign-off. Work within a distributed team, spanning various time zones. Clearly and concisely connect with colleagues of all levels (including the executive team).
  • Participate in internal scrum meetings with leads & Product Owners to ensure project details are passed on to multi-functional teams.
Business Analyst - Job requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, scrum master or project manager within an agile environment.
  • 2+ years experience in the software industry, preferably in a HCM or FINS services environment.
  • 2+ years experience implementing, administering, and integrating SaaS software and/or Workday

Other Qualifications

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A proven track record of leading programs is preferred over limited experience with a higher degree.
  • CBAP, CCBA, or CSM certification is preferred.
  • Ability to wear different hats and fill in where the business demands.
  • Excellent at forming relationships across teams to meet team goals and align with business objectives.
  • Comfortable handling opposing priorities and resources.
  • Training and training documentation development.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications to different audiences and distill significant information timely.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $90,100 USD - $135,300 USD

Additional CAN Location(s) Base Pay Range: $85,200 - $127,700 CAD
