Job Description & Responsibilities
The Business Analyst, OTC Process Owner will report directly to the Senior Manager, Global Process, OTC, and will collaborate closely with the Accounts Receivable Operations Excellence team to identify and address recurring issues while exploring opportunities to enhance efficiency, standardization, and process improvement.
This role requires a unique background and knowledge in project management, data analytics, process documentation, and technical integration with third-party services. Additionally, it involves gaining a comprehensive understanding of accounts receivable transactions and financial reporting within our Cross-Enterprise resource planning environments.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable operations group to identify opportunities for process improvements, control gaps, governance requirements and more.
- Build teamwork among project teams and Nutrien stakeholders to ensure cohesiveness.
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring exceptions and offer recommendations to the GPO Leader for process improvements, automation, or alternative solutions.
- Conduct cross-ERP/cross-business function analysis to pinpoint opportunities for standardization.
- Design business process documentation, test plans, and workflows.
- Oversee the testing designs; plan, perform, monitor, and make necessary improvements.
- Analyze business processes, harvest requirements, and identify process and system improvements.
- Actively engage with business stakeholders, project leads, and any development teams to clarify requirements, ensuring consistency and completeness.
- Support all leadership and stakeholders in addressing their queries about process standardization or suggested improvements.
Requirements
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a recognized institution.
- Min of 2 years of experience in business analysis or a closely related field.
- High level of detail orientation.
- Self-motivation with an ability to prioritize effectively and meet competing deadlines.
- Receptive mindset and thrive in a team environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to comprehend and gain understanding of business ideas and translating them into functional business processes.
- Ability to take ownership of business problems and advocate for technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
- Experience with Microsoft Visio is preferred.
- Experience with PeopleSoft, OnBase, and/or SAP S4 would be an asset.
What we offer
Salary Range $64,000 - $88,000 annually. This range is estimated for Business Analsyt, OTC Process Owner role in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
