Job Description & Responsibilities
As the Business Analyst you play a key role on project teams focusing on business and information technology transformation initiatives. In this role you will facilitate communication between IT team members, executive leaders, and business users as well as third party partners while assessing the knowledge and language gaps between IT and the business areas.
As a BA you are an agent of change; you proactively help business users identify opportunities for process improvement prior to introducing new or modern technologies. You will assess processes, elicit requirements, and support data management and strategies when brainstorming solutions to business challenges. You must balance your great ideas against what is technologically feasible and financially reasonable.
You are part of the Business Analysis team within the Enterprise Program Management Office (PMO) and will be exposed to a variety of project assignment types, business challenges, and solutions.
In this role you will:
- Apply a logical, organized, and intentional process to gathering business requirements and obtaining approval. Will suggest and use tools, frameworks, and methods commonly used in business process definition/mapping and information technology design and iteration.
- Collaborate with and advise a team of stakeholders are responsible for introducing and managing transformation across the organization (i.e., IT, PMO, Finance, Operations, Innovation, and Business Process Improvement).
- Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications related to the requirements definition/gathering activities and processes. Communicates to stakeholders those points of design challenge and alternatives/options.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Contributing to project management overall (i.e., updates, reporting, risk and issue identification and management, etc.)
- Supporting identification and documentation of business management/process issues that surface during requirements that require leadership decisions
- Supporting identification and documentation of data definition, data management, and data clean up opportunities that surface during requirements elicitation activities
Requirements
What you bring to the role:
- A minimum of 7 years of demonstrable experience conducting business analysis work
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and consultative skills
- A knack for analytical thinking and problem solving
- You are meticulous with the details and possess exceptional organizational skills
- Knowledge of business structure and stakeholder analysis
- Experience with requirements gathering and documentation; test case development support
- Experience with creating process models
- A working understanding of networks, databases, business intelligence/analytics tools, and other technology that may be applied to further enable business process
- Bachelor’s degree

The hiring range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000. Offers will take into consideration experience, location, and budget.
