Job Description & Responsibilities
The Business Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. The Business Analyst responsible include key business requirement development, operational readiness, and development of project artifacts as necessary within the U.S. Custody initiatives. This role is under Custody Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Documentation - Responsible for the development of Business Requirements (BRD) and ensuring Functional Documentation (FRDs) aligns with and provides necessary quality and traceability to BRD requirements.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure clarity, accuracy and consensus of requirements being documented.
- Individual capable of performing business analysis of existing functions to align feature/function requirement development.
- Responsible for capture of ad-hoc requirements
- Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge of Project Management concepts and procedures within area to resolve issues.
- Identify, document and report on project dependencies, risk, issues, actions and identify path to success in both activity sequence and time to ensure delivery within constraints.
- Engage internal / external stakeholders / vendors throughout the project lifecycle. Act as a point of contact and liaison between departments and required business areas for the implementation of activities.
- Ensure accurate communication to stakeholders.
- Lead select project workstream efforts and facilitate stakeholder meetings/calls.
- Perform issue root cause analysis, advise stakeholders of issue and project impact.
- Ensure project deliverables, tasks, actions are executed vs schedule. Perform follow-up actions as necessary to maintain schedule. Track and report delivery timeliness vs project plan milestones and objectives.
- Maintain various project artifacts as needed. Project Plan, Deviation Documents, Training Log, Defect Logs and provide corresponding status reports. Recognize, report and take actions as needed to ensure issues are identified and escalated for appropriate remediation.
- Migration Execution Support – ability to coordinate and facilitate runbook execution
- Client Investigation support and coordination as related to Target State implementation.
Area/Function (i.e. Program Management)
- Responsible for compliance with Office of Program Management project standards and governance Work to develop project plans, roadmap, work-stream deliverable, scoping documents, charter, identification and documentation of project risk, issues, and action items.
- Ensure for project compliance with project standards, control and governance.
- Ensure project management methodology is adhered
- Develop and support project reporting and presentation updates
- Responsible for the development, maintenance of project artifacts, ensuring they are retained in an orderly, controlled and retrievable manner.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years Custody processing experience
- Knowledge of Citi’s US Custody system set a plus
- Asset Svcs and/or Settlements experience a plus.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience a plus
- Previous project management experience a plus

What we offer
Primary Location Salary Range:
$79,120.00 - $118,680.00
