Job Description & Responsibilities
The Associate Business Analyst will participate in tasks ranging from software production support to requirements gathering and stakeholder communication management for software enhancement and support needs. Excellent communication skills, ability to self-manage workload and self-assess task priorities are required.
Essential Functions
- Document production problems and assist in root cause analysis to aid development and deployment of problem resolutions.
- Assist with management of product development change control needs.
- Assist with IT product teams' Tier 2 support.
- Assist in management of product support ticket queue and performs preliminary investigation ahead of Tier 3 engagement.
- Create business requirements documents, project charters, and other analysis documentation to facilitate IT project management and IT product development teams in understanding, scheduling, and tracking product development projects.
- Serve as a liaison between product development teams and business stakeholders and product owners to determine business need of software products and the technical delivery of business requests.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including, but not limited to: Creating UAT plans, facilitating identification of UAT participants, creation of UAT Issues Document to track identified bugs, priority, and resolution.
- Use project and task management software to track software development progress and monitor production issues.
- Assist in the research, analysis, problems, and coordination of production software issues of the Lucet staff, as needed.
- Manage company-wide communications regarding software enhancements and project/initiative statuses.
- Adheres to Lucet Mission Statement, Core Values, Code of Business Conduct and Compliance Program.
- Complies with all Federal and applicable State laws and Lucet policies regarding privacy, confidentiality and security of health information and other designated information.
Requirements
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree related to analysis, technical/business administration, or communication fields or 3 years relevant experience in IT analysis or support roles.
- T-SQL experience (writing queries, analyzing SQL data, etc.).
- Firm understanding of SDLC (Software development Life Cycle) in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience creating software development requirements documents.
- Experience writing development tasks from requirements documents.
- Organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in various team settings.
Preferred
- Experience interacting with senior leadership.

Working Conditions
- Work is performed indoors in a home office environment- not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
- Frequent exposure to VDT screen and computer.
- Physical demands include constant ability to remain in a stationary position, move about inside an office or remote setting, able to communicate and exchange information with others, able to inspect information, and able to perform repetitive motion with arms and fingers.
- Mental demands include constant ability to interpret data, problem solve, make decisions, and organize and plan.
What we offer
Salary and Other Compensation:
The starting salary that Lucet reasonably expects to pay for this position ranges from $74,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills, education/degrees, certifications, prior experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of Lucet's incentive plan based on both company performance and individual performance.
